The new theme pack “Animals and their Habitats” is now live on the 123ICT Interactive Computing Scheme of Work https://123sow.co.uk/
Over 50 links to resources, planning and activities to help you teach this amazing topic across both KS1 and KS2.
Why do some animals live in some places and why do some not? Why are there no penguins in the Arctic? Apparently it has nothing to do with polar bears and them not being able to get the wrappers off!!
There are 2 great new theme packs available for members to help bring the topics of the Anglo Saxons and The Celts to life in your classroom.
Superheroes have always fascinated children. They love to play superheroes and take on their favourite role; they love to watch superheroes on TV and at the cinema and they love to read about them also. We have 30 superb themed websites on offer, some are KS1, some are KS2 and some are suitable for EYFS.
A new theme pack on Poetry has been produced for the 123SOW. Poetry can be fun, it can be used to send a message and it can be used to tell a story. It can rhyme, or not; it can be deep and meaningful or be nonsensical. Poetry can be performed, or it can be for personal consumption and enjoyment. It can be full of humour that makes us laugh or so deep and meaningful that it moves us to tears. In short, poetry is simply great!

We now have theme packs available for World War 2 and also for this year’s Winter Olympics that starts on Friday 9th February.
Did you know Nigeria will be taking part in the Winter Games for the first time ever this year, in the Bobsleigh event, and that Jamaica have qualified again in the Bobsleigh and also have a competitor in the Skeleton? #CoolRunnings
As 2018 marks the centenary of the end of WW1, also known as The Great War, we thought that it would be an excellent theme to introduce at the start of the year. We have over 40 super WW1 themed websites on offer. Collectively, the resources cover WW1: history, warfare, technology & inventions, communications, propaganda, art, children, famous people, trench conditions and much more besides.
The theme’s resources comprise of a mixture of: information, facts, research, hands-on activities, illustrations, audio and video clips, as well as some detailed planning – each of which will effectively support this exceedingly interesting and very far-reaching topic.
